St. Clair’s first high luxury jewelry collection premiered in 2015. Titled Mythical Creatures From the Golden Menagerie, this epic suite embodies super-detailed and design-driven jewels that shimmer and glow with extremely beautiful, rare and highly valuable gemstones such as Paraiba tourmalines, Australian Andamooka opals and more.
In her book, Alchemy, St. Clair celebrates the exotic, ancient and beautiful history (and craft )of jewelry making. St. Clair also defines herself in Alchemy as “an amateur anthropologist, a hopeless hunter and gatherer, a bit of a wanderer, and a self-made jewelry historian who loves to dream and draw.” St. Clair’s collection of Mythical Creatures lives as bejeweled evidence of her love of dreaming and drawing.
